I love Las Vegas. There is something about it that just puts a huge smile on my face. Someday I hope to live there, even if it’s just for a year. In the meantime, I created this Instagram account that simply reposts cool photos of Las Vegas. Within a matter of months, the account already had over 10,000 followers. It’s growing at a very fast rate and has amazing engagement.
My goal is to get the account to over 100,000 followers and then contact hotels and casinos in Las Vegas to get free rooms or cash in exchange for Vegas Hut showcasing their property. Even if I never make a dime from this project, it’s still a fun way to test out what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to growing an Instagram account.

Provo Buzz launched in late 2012, and it has been a fun ride ever since. The goal was to create an online platform for locals in the Provo, Utah area to share and discuss what is important to them. Unlike local newspapers and major Utah online publications, it isn’t controlled by editors and advertisers. The open platform is intended for anybody to have a voice and have their story told.

Market Campus launched in July 2014. It started out as a “digital marketing bootcamp” where students would show up to class multiple times a week and get professional training in various online marking disciplines. In December 2015 the company pivoted to a pure online model where students can learn at their own pace for a low-cost subscription. Students also have the option of paying extra to have a personal mentor with weekly one-on-one video chats.
The company quickly became profitable and is now one of the most well-known online digital marketing education platforms.
